jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have broken up after their relationship had been in limbo for a few months. Since they broke up, the public has been wondering what will happen to that blinding engagement ring, but it seems J Lo is keeping it, according to reports.

The ring is still in Jennifer's possession and the former couple haven't discussed what they are going to do with it yet.

According to a source, they gifted each other with lots of jewellery so it might not even be an issue.

This ring worth $1.8 million (about N686m). It's not the only piece of jewellery that Alex Rodriguez bought for her, so the fate of the ring still hangs in the balance.

Sources told TMZ that J Lo didn't take the ring with her to the Dominican Republic, where she's shooting a movie, for security reasons. She didn't want something so valuable to have a chance of getting lost or stolen.

Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez still get along despite breaking up so fans shouldn't expect major beef now that the relationship over. They've accepted that it didn't work out and are moving on.
